Obama went on Diane Sawyer's show. Made the arrogant statement that he is now famous for: I would rather be a great one term President than a mediocre two term President. That he is already the worst Prez in my 71 years should give us all pause for what is coming.  The talk and written commentaries by liberals, Kos, Moveon, The Times, WAPO, many liberal pundits from Beckel to Krugman to Carville, to Ploufe to Axelrod makes wonder if the Mass. Miracle never happened. The generic ballot by Ras. that Pubs now have some % points over Dems and that 40% of Americans now think of themselves as Conservatives have made no impression. Oh wait. If the Dems lie like they did with the Blue Dogs in 2006-08 and want to do in 10, that might say something. Of course , once in DC, they salivate over BHO and Reid and Pelosi and vote right down the line, leftist socialist pacifist. There are no moderate Dems in Congress. There are some common sense Dems left nationally. There are some Reagan Dems.  Now the policies in one year as we go toward the State of the Union, have been mostly tax and spend and federal controlling. The national security idea from 9/11 is now in the dumpster with a 9/10 viewpoint with a Miradizing of Islamofascists as  supposedly safeguards of the American Way. Madness. The tax and spending that has tripled the deficit from W's 8 years is now an everyday item for people , even liberals to try to explain. Whether it was Obamacare, Cap and Trade, amnesty, Porkulas, all have been rank madness as to solid free enterprise democratic  agendas that most Americans now want. Spending sprees are not the answer to our recession. And wait till the Dems kill off the Bush Tax Cuts soon. More recession moving toward perhaps the real Depression that Obama has blathered about that Pubs and Bush had caused. Another lie. But, as there is a jobless recovery, err wait, no recovery and no jobs. Oh , in the public sector but not in the needed private sector.  Many people and media outlets have listed the non-accomplishments of Obama.But yet the MSM and the Dems continue to live in an alternative universe of unreality.  Their policies seem to be : let's redo the same old play book we have done since the New Deal. It is always tax hikes and spending hikes and less and less liberty for our citizens. They always blame America domestically and internationally for the world's problems as Jeanne Kirkpatrick once said. That has not changed. And they want to double down. Psychiatrists say that trying the same thing over and over is a definition of insanity.  And so it goes for the modern liberal Dem. Madness.

When one writes or tells as story, anecdotal material is not always the best. But, like generalizations, sometimes they both work at making a point if, if they are true. We all know now that ObamaCare is going to pass in some horror of a morass. Still, let us compare if we can what it might mean in personal ways. The MSM always gets the illegal, the poor down and outer, the smoked , drugged, boozed person who is coming back and now needs free health care. And not 47 million without insurance or care is the correct number; more like 12 million Americans who just cannot get both. OK, will Obama Care be any better than Cuba, Britain, Canada and other socialist paradises? Analysing it, one cannot quite gauge it unless one remembers that the Dems are killing the Bush Tax Cuts this year. Then, the so called benefits of this new Care will not be here for 4 years or more. And more taxes and spending will occur raising the debt not billions but up to a trillion dollars. My wife. Well, on Jan.  11, she will have a hip replacement. All her prep, tests, doctor mts. have been easy, right on, and not long in waiting. She is 68.  Will that be true in ObamaCare?  She is going to a wonderful rehab center, paid for by our insurance , which we pay for. We both have Medicare which we all pay for. There is no free lunch. Or there should not be.  I have a friend who has MS.  He has insurance but he has a serious issue and so far he has had pretty good care in spite of some problems, he is carrying through. Still, he is too in his '60's.   Would ObamaCare care about his MS as he ages?? I have two friends with cancer, one who is a friend since he was 12.  He is in his '60's. He has melanoma of the nose. Has a great doc and good care. Has had two hip replacements and done very well with it all. Would ObamaCare do as well? He pays for his insurance.   Then there is a friend from my old church who is racked with cancer. All his lower areas have tumors.  Yet, his care has been pretty good and the docs are working hard to save his life at age 57-8. Would Obama Care do that? Or would there be rationing for any of the people I wrote about?  Yes, this is anecdotal. Still, my guess is many people have the same stories and questions. What ObamaCare promises does not seem to me to lower costs, get better overall care and will not allow seniors not only their Medicare Advantage but might just shove them into an early grave. What do you think?

  Even FDR put his gifts to the adoring public with benefits up front. Not this faux Messiah. He puts the taxes and spending and Un-Constitutional items in the Bill right before the spectators. Now when the public actually reads this and they should start by looking at NRO on line and reading one by Grace-Marie and then today's  the 21st, WSJ op ed. Both of these op-eds put forward the facts and stats and , and the outcomes of all this 2000 page monstrosity. I will not spoil it for you but you have to read both to see just what Fascist-Socialist hodge podge this horror is all about.  In all of my years inspecting political affairs, I cannot remember such a mess of bribes, lies, deals, and federal tyranny than this one bill. Not even the original Social Security Bill was like this one. Not even Medicare or the Prescription Drugs deal.  There have been actual bribes to at least 3 Senators on this malarky. Landrieu, Nelson and possibly Joe from Conn. And remember, these bribes are with my, your tax monies not a slush fund that Harry or San Fran Nan has in their office.  And remember, the Dems want to give us all another gift. It is the phony climate, global warming Cap and Tax bill. Then, they little lovelies want to give us all AMNESTY for illegals. Can you imagine the Liar in Chief giving his State of the Union speech by dissing the Bushies for not being as historical as he has been along with the Dems in Congress giving us all such wonderful gifts from 2009?? See the dazzle of the bows and glitter of the promises. And as Reid said today, the 21st, the folks will all forget the bad times of 2009 and the polls will rise as they view the wonder of the Care bill and the other laws that he and Obama and Nan have gotten through for us, worshipful serfs.  So we shall watch Bowl games, eat turkey and ham, and drink champagne. We will hear the MSM elevate the Chicago Thug to carving a face on Mt.Rushmore. The wonder of Obama.  Then we will hear us be told that our resolutions should make sure that those wascally Pubs, conservs, and Christians never come to power again to ruin the great works that the new God hath given us.  So here are my resolutions. You might want to add some yourself.  1.  I will pray for the governing leaders.....that all liberals will fail in ruining our economy, our military and our culture.  2. I will pray that the GOP will get the guts to unite with Libertarians, Reagan Dems, Indies to put forward a real American Contract to make America great not a Third World nation and I will support every effort with time, money and prayer.  3. I resolve to write even more letters, faxes, columns to put forward a positive American, Judeo-Christian world view each day that I can. 4.   I resolve to support real conservative candidates to bring back America and not Zimbabwe.  5. I resolve to ask the Lord to aid me and my wife to be loving and kind but not a push over with friends, family, enemies and even liberals. But, I will not bow down to either Islamofascism, Liberalism, Paganism or Secularism in 2010.  And, 6. I resolve to ask all that I meet, write, call, to vote in Nov. 2010 to un-elect every Democrat that is possible. How bout you?

  Years ago, when the nation had recovered from WWII, it took the IKE Administration to put some face on conservative views. Even IKE said, 'conservatism is not a bad word.'  There were ideas that talked about a balanced budget back then. There were even views that the IRS needed to be reigned in. And that was in the '50's. But, then the '60's came about, and numbers almost killed America with the Nam disaster. Deaths added up and the Media gleefully printed them each day and LBJ was done. Even then, some upticks on climate, healthcare numbers were first avered. In the '70's, the numbers came from the Church Comm. to derail the American military establishment. Cut the military was the Left's cry. And it was. Remember, the Cold War was still on and as we declined supposedly, the Commies like the Chinese finally began to grow some power. We heard the numbers. Recognize the Chinese Reds because they had a billion customers. Remember that? And now they own the USA. And as Americans are always fascinated by numbers in polls, on any issue, politician et al, the '80's saw the rise of Reagan to do what ? Believe it or not to end the New Deal.  Yep. That is a fact. And he did do some cutting but not enough. He did cut taxes and as you all know, today, the W cuts are going to lapse and then the Dems will be raising taxes a helling. The GOP does not have the numbers to stop them . And since on so many issues, the Dems do not even listen to their own constituents except the real leftist socialist pacifists and thus the numbers are skewed and pushed by the kow towing MSMedia.  The debt keeps going on and the Senate raised it again, just today. Huge numbers. Now we are in the 21st Century and the numbers keep killing free enterprise. And oh, and remember, the numbers for the deaths of the Iraq-Afghan. war seem to be printed on screen each night by CNN. Now we kill more people in traffic accidents each year than we have in an 9 year war so far but the Left never allows numbers to tell them the real facts. Look at the climate, Copenhagen, Healthcare debates with facts on one side, and emotional ideology on the other.  Apparently numbers that Reid quotes and McConnell quotes are in alternative universes. Reid's numbers in NV. are tanking. Even the 3rd District of NV. with Titus in power is losing numbers now to a GOP challenger. The MSMedia will never cover polls on all these issues or the Dems in trouble. They hate the fact that their favorite numbers are going against them but still they rave how the deals are almost done in both climate and Care. But at our expense. The numbers on Care tell of being revenue neutral. A huge lie. It will damn near bankrupt America and Medicare will be exposed to damage. The EPA lied today and Congress is furious that they have made decisions on numbers that the Congress cannot debate. The bottom line is this. Unless the GOP can unite the TeaParty people, Indies, Reagan Dems Libertarians, and all classes in the GOP, these leftist socialist pacifists in the Dem Party will kill American free enterprise and they still may because the next election is not till Nov. 2010. There the numbers better represent a tsunami  of anti-liberal Democrat votes or we may sink to the level of a real Third World nation whose numbers will even shock the Democrats who drive us there!

About 40 years or less ago, PC baloney finally landed on campuses. Oh liberals had always used wording to hide true meanings like progressive for liberal forgetting to use Communist after the Soviet Union or before the Chinese People's Republic or to call Castro one. But, real PC word turning came upon the Ivy League Campuses at Harvard, Yale and Penn. Penn especially had a President who was into sensitivity. Columbia followed by allowing black radicals to host the Dean with guns. The Media, not to be outdone, regularly called anything that was reactionary, conservative. Liberalism was the way of the educational, governmental, and economic elites. Then came National Review, Bill Buckley, Barry Goldwater, Whitaker Chambers, Bill Rusher, and finally Ronald Reagan to give conservative a name that actually began to frighten liberals who were running the show and always expected to run the show. Films in the USA in the /40's naturally praised the Soviet fight against the Fascists. One was with Walter Huston as I remember seeing it. There were many like For Whom the Bell Tolls.  Then in a real reaction J.Edgar Hoover and the House began to look at commies under the bed. Some were actually there but no one wanted to believe it. Campuses in the '60's had by then a regular view of the '40's and '50's and of course, the New Better New Age We Know Everything and America is Filled with Dead Old White People in their History Books '60's-'70's. Carter continued to spread the malaise about America and the media kept it going by denouncing capitalism, began to destroy the idea of Christmas, Columbus, Capitalism all in large books, and in Time, Newsweek, and the major urban media centers. Oh just this week in Mass., school boards did not want green and red paper to bring to school because it was 'too Christmasy.' Halloween was fine but surely not a Jewish or Christian Holiday in December, school boards have decided in all 50 states. PC nonsense mostly began and still is hyped in to law by liberal Dems for the last 30 years. Abortion was such a law which was in most legal minds who are mature, bad case law. Most legal minds said it should be left to the states but Congress and the SCOTUS disagreed. Gay Marriage will follow the same route, mark my words. There will be some victories, but the courts will use emotion and PC beliefs to make it legal maybe even in my lifetime. Also, it would not surprise me to see capital punishment just vanish which is very very PC malarky but there it is. As well as gun rights. I could point out many laws and customs now over those 40 years that have come under attack such as the debasement of Christ and Christianity. It is just no PC to hold anything true about those two words. When a Fla. House rep. just last week thought about taxing both the Mormon and Roman Catholic church for some healthcare as well as deficit reduction monies, the dice were being tossed. But, since we are in almost the worst 11 months Presidential life that I can remember from the Depression-War  Days and the horror of 1968 and the '60's generation decade that I can actually remember, I want to mention PC baloney that would make Upton Sinclair retch. We have an historical figure as President. OK, black, a socialist, pacifist, liberal radical. All amazing in this nation when people told us that a black et al would never be elected. In 11 months, PC reality has overcome real reality. TV, films, DVD's, books, et al have made Obama a Messiah without portfolio. Yet it is all smoke and mirrors. In 11 months , the bill of goods presented to Americans with Hope and Change, reform, and the Government wants to help all Americans, has made a mockery out of our history, customs, heritage, economic foundations and founding documents. All have been warped or ripped up in varied ways. PC inanity has struck our national security where we cannot name Islam, Islamofascism, Al Queda, a terrorist enemy nor can we do the same for any ME group like Hamas. We believe global warming or climate change, or carbon reduction or CO2 emissions as if all of it has been proved. We don't drill for our own domestic energy resources because we still believe a flicker with Jane Fonda, the China Syndrome which today is simply a lie. In fact , PC beliefs are all lies. We are told crime is not really crime if a minority does it nor could any of those crimes be called hate or racist crimes. Because only whites and the majorities can be racists and have hate crimes appended to them. It is PC to believe nowadays that all books, music, art, governments, ideas, religions are are equal and everybody should be willing to redistribute their monies and properties for anybody in need without any say. Militarily we are cowed to believe that our military is now racist and bullies Muslims or blacks or American Indians or females. Our military is the best open free market of diversity and ideas and American excellence that there is but not according to liberals. You see PC is a liberal invention. And it is from the Pit of Hell.

A long time ago, before we found out that Walter Cronkite was really a lefty commentator, he hosted on CBS, "You are there.'  It was a fine show that had American historical issues, heroes, incidents featured throughout our history. I used to watch it and then when I taught, I showed on old 16 mm film, these wonderful shows that featured our historical values. Can you imagine if CBS, MSNBC, CNN, NPR put out that show today?   Obama saves the world's economy.  'You are there.'   American values replaced by liberal secular values because of historical hate.  'You are there.'  Education in America will not have scores, tests, A-F grades or any athletic competition which would declare a winner. 'You are there.'  Islamofascism values, madrasses, Sharia law replace American law in cities which want those to happen for a tolerant America.  'You are there.'  Our hate crimes bill now includes all those intolerant churches and temples .  'You are there.'  Our military finally has been declared Meals on Wheels. 'You are there.'  Our military is now being taught pacifism by the Walden Pond groups . 'You are there.' And finally, Obama made President for Life.  And none of us want to be there!

  In the play, 1776, there was a song named: Rum,molasses and slaves.  One line froze me: from the Ivory Coast to Boston to Charleston, who stinkith the most? Of course dealing with New England slave shippers vs the slave owners and sellers in the triangle trade in the South. Today, when one looks at the entire American scene, economically, culturally, internationally, militarily, domestic or foreign, one is apt to ask, 'Who stinkith  the most?'  Today , Judd Gregg said that the US was sliding into becoming a banana republic. Good heavens. Carmen Miranda and the banana hat and all! I am old enough to remember, FDR's Good Neighbor policy. And I have traveled in Latin America to Brazil, Costa Rica, Haiti, Dominica , Bahamas Caymans, St. Thomas-Martin et al.  The economic conditions in many of those areas: in Puerto Rico, people told us that the island was bankrupt.  What crops will the socialist enviros allow us to have? The Valley in Fresno is a dust bowl with 40% unemployment because the feds and state cop to enviros and will not allow water to go to the farms which feed the entire USA.    Of course the whole healthcare struggle is one of ideologies along with economic facts, hatred, lies, needs and it seems that when a group wants more federal government control, even free speech is suffering as we have seen with the Fox episodes and the attacks on insurance companies which many Americans love to hate. Our tax rates keep exploding as do our deficits now nearly in the trillions for as far as the eye can see. We have a huge energy tax coming up over a faux belief in some climate or global warming change which the Left thinks is more dangerous than Islamofascism. Which is another issue in which the US seems to be waning in its enthusiasm. We have The Taliban and Al Queda rife in the ME and especially Afghanistan. We have a President who in my life time is the most radical socialist pacifist leftist that I have ever seen or even read about in American history outside of some really bad Communists like Gus Hall or socialists like Saul Alinsky. Methinks that Obama and Alger Hiss would have been soul mates.When amnesty for illegals comes and it will if the Democrats still hold Congress after 2010-12, then more dislocations will take place and economically and culturally, the nation will fade into some multicultural axis of Balkanization like the old Austria-Hungarian Empire. Which just off question, just happened to be some causation of WWI.  I haven't even looked at our education crisis which is almost re-segregating students and surely the NEA union has done more harm to kids than say Newt Gingrich! I could go on and on like the Claw does, but one only has to view the reports of The Heritage Foundation or read The Economist to see the overall collapse of the American dream in just 9 months. Whether we recoup or not is really up to those who will not stop fighting against this socialist pacifist tyrannical onslaught. I've been to banana republics and areas where tyrants have run the gamut. This is not the nation of the founders if we drift down that lane. I can truly write:  the WH or Tea Parties, who stinkith the most? There is no question in my mind after these 9 months.

 When I was a kid, I went to the UN GA in 1948. I saw the great powers who had won WWII debating two things: Israel and Indonesia. I saw Soviet leaders that all knew back in those Cold War days. I was 9. I actually understood the 50 plus organization when there were leaders who  were cold blooded realists. People lie Bunche, Andre Vechinsky, and yes, even Eleanor Roosevelt. Since then, there are now nearly 190 states. Most of them are one party dictatorships. Since 1945, the UN has been in perhaps 4-5 areas in which they have had some success. Then there is UNICEF, WHO which both have had some positive impact. Other than that, this group looks like dysfunctional thugs in the Godfather.  55% of Europeans vote against  the US line, and the rest of the African, Asian, Middle Eastern tyrants vote over 83% against the US resolutions and almost 98% against Israel.  Then too, the Sudanese are on the Human Rights Commission this year and Libya  is on the 15 member rotational Security Council. Iran is feted and Obama is feted because his speech sounded like Iran's .One thing I know, the UN should be back in Geneva like the League. It does not need to be in NY where the thugs run the town as the thugs in office do! The group at the UN, as someone said, looks like the Star Wars Bar. The freak show there is not worthy of human designation. They are simply tyrants. And Obama wanted to appease those bums? He made no comment about freedom or liberty of those in bondage. He made ill remarks about Bush. of course not naming him because even for him that would be too gauche.  The NYTimes covered Obama at the UN as if he was now the ruler of the Globe. He just could not force nations to do what he wanted. BTW, he never mentioned that the USA spends $5 billion a year on UN nonsense.  He never mentioned that Bush followed the 17 resolutions before finally ousting Saddam.  He never mentioned the racism and anti-Semite statements daily from the UN. In fact, he dissed Israel and praised the Pals. The arrogance of his speech and the inaness of this UN group were made for one another. No president has ever in a UN speech dissed a former President. But, Obama did. And then there was the wackiness of Daffy Duck from Libya .  One could only have prayed that some madman could have invited all of these thugs to a cocktail party and gassed them all. Not our President. I want him and his leftist minions to be beaten down and disgraced in the elections of 2010-12. He needs to be brought down a peg or two , not our nation as he tried to do in his abysmal speech at the Star Wars Bar.

  Well, the old DNC playbook is back in action. And it is to smear the opposition with the term: RACIST. And they used that when white old men  or young men were their choices for office. And it has been going on since the '60's.  Civil Rights, people forget, came about when LBJ got E.Dirksen a great old white Pub to support the bill in '64. I remember Dirksen well. Before the useage of mics, Dirksen's voice could be heard all over the room. So now we have the Obama socialist pacifist Administration. And that is what the Tea Parties, the 9/12 voter participation in DC was all about. Look at the horrid policy decisions Rahm, Podesta, the dead Alinsky, Obama have put out to revolutionize not reform America. Bail outs. Porkulas. Car and Bank takeovers. Cap and Trade phony energy bill, Card Check, Stimulus lies on job creation as unemployment goes stratospheric. Now healthcare socialism and lack of choice and liberties by voters.  Next year, he will give Amnesty to illegals. Oh boy, the 9/12 outrages will triple. After the 9/12 DC voter rebellion, CNN, MSNBC called all of these people and Fox, and bloggers, and Rush, Sean, Glenn Beck, all racists. Politico has used this as a byline and over 2500 commentators roiled their site with opposition. The Times, MoDowd, Joe Connason, used the term to splatter all white opponents of Obama and the House bill.  And with the outbursts of K. West and Serena, racist tensions will be rising again. It is too bad since the real reason Obama must fail is his agenda not his color.

 This is a tough time for opponents of Obama, the entire Dem Leadership, local House reps and Senate Dems who represent our states. Why? Because, the MSM continues to dis us as opponents and treat the Dems , not only federally, but in state legislatures with Dem guvs, as heroes and put upon by the meanies in the nation. I know that readers know what I am going to write but a suggestion is just that.  1. Each of us should go to Drudge, Real Clear Politics each day. When you click on stories with sites that you are not on, go on them. Put your opinions in such outlets as NV, Detroit, DC papers, NYTimes. I have joined about 20 varied liberal-moderate outlets. You would be surprised how many commentators will answer you with good questions and comments without hatred from, say, Kos. I am even on foreign outlets such as in Britain. 2. Now this is a bit chancey for some of you. Join Free Republic. Why? They have many polls in many areas of the US that you can influence. You can , of course, rant and rave. But, it is the outlets they cover which are more important. 3. You must all find the Senate and House sites to make sure you keep your opinions in their boxes. In the House site, one cannot write anymore to an out of state House rep but they will allow you to write the Speaker. Which I do. Believe it or not, some of these people, Senators, especially, will write back with your points. Keep the pressure on Boehner and McConnell to keep their pressure on all of the Pubs left in Congress to not compromise with the Left. They actually do write back. 4. Keep writing letters to the editor for your local newspaper. It works as great debate topics.  5. Join other groups like NumbersUSA and Grassroots. They will have , as Capwiz, has, free faxes to Congress and the President.  and 6. sing as many petitions as you can, including Mike Gallaghers's Petition against Obama care.  Well, once again townhall cut me off so I had to start this blog. Again. This is sort of like the historical analysis I am going to provide now over the last 7 decades. It all happens Again. As the First, Second and Third New Deals were put forward, more spending, more shots at industries and the rich occured. Meanwhile, international enemies were arising to threaten free enterprise Western democracies. And little was done here or in Europe or in Asia to halt tyranny. FDR put forward Social Security as a 'supplemental aid to help retired people and some disabled workers.' It was never , as he said, to be a full fledged retirement plan. But, over the decades , Democrat liberals have scared seniors that Pubs would steal it away and this tactic worked. More spending increased and by the time of my birth, 1939, the Depression was actually in as bad shape as it had been in the first year of the Depression. Spending had not worked but feelings seemed to be better. Liberals have used 'feelings and emotions ever since to deflect and deceive citizens into thinking the Govt. is actually doing something to keep their lives going.'  So on it went until finally WWII got the nation out of the Depression with huge expenditures and then industries made money again and people were hired and made some monies to pay taxes. By the late 1940's, the nation was in recover. Truman beat Dewey surprisingly and created NATO, the Marshall Plan, aided the military to desegregate, and stopped the Steel Strike. Yet, yet, taxes kept going up and unfunded mandates started in as we could see them today. Finally, in 1952, IKE used a motto:  "Had Enough". Had enough govt. spending? Had enough communists threatening us? IKE promised to go to Korea, got elected, did go, and the war was over in 1953. IKE even made a statement that conservatism was not as bad as the New Dealers had portrayed it. We had some real recovery, money was made, the federal highway system was started and peace reigned. Even JFK was not a radical. Not as LBJ would be with his locking Medicare with Social Security. So more spending and taxes went up and people loved it as long as industries and the rich were blamed for all our problems.  Carter was a horror. And even in Clinton's regime, Newt got the '94 Contract and forced Bubba to give into welfare reform.  But, now, with The One, we have the most radcial socialist ever to hit this nation. Even Upton Sinclair, even Bob LaFollette, even Henry A. Wallace, even Jeannette Rankin were not as radical as this naif in the WH. He now has to own the economy. He has to own the enviroCap and Trade climate whatever, green nonsense . He has to own the Porkulas. He has to own the socialist Healthcare socialist mess. He has to own his upcoming Amnesty for illegals in 2010. He has to own the car, bank, Freddie and Fannie messes. He has to own the clunker absurdity. The nation is going broke. The system is being changed, TRANSFORMED, as Alinsky wanted. So Obama has followed this socialist un-American perfectly. The economy is not producing jobs. He may have to pass all this socialist baloney without any bi-partisan Pub help. Prayerfully, Boehner and McConnell will stop the RINOS's from compromising with these inane tax and spending horrors.  In a two word statement:  HAD ENOUGH ?
