I think we all know now that with the Tucson rally, not the memorial it was supposed to be, the real start of the 2012 campaign began. That was sad. And while I was stunned to see an Indian doing some praises for cats, dogs and birds, I did not hear anyone mention God, His comfort for the other shot and wounded and the dead...other than Gabby and the Ms. Green. After all, Green was the grand-daughter of the Phillies 1980's manager,Dallas Green and surely something should have been mentioned about the prayers of all in Pa. and across the nation for the Green family. But, now, the Congress is back to work. And right away, after the President's call for civility, one week later, all that was blasted apart by lies, smears, and name calling on NBC, CNN, MSNBC and by Dem House reps Jan. 18-19 with the Care debate. Did anyone think lib-progressive-socialists-Dems would play fair with rhetoric after the Palin smears?? I surely did not and neither did Talk Radio, Fox, the blogs on the NET. And these issues that we are all debating are really important for our future economy, culture, protection, security, liberty, heritage and history. I want heated debate with facts not emotional lies. I also do not want Pubs to sit with Dems at SOTU. That was a trick to begin with. I want Americans to see who they elected in the House-some 242 Pubs on their side of the aisle and then support them to keep their promises. I can tell you that the Senate is already in play just today. We know that in 2012, already Conn.,NJ, Fla., Wisco, N.Dakota will have changes. In fact, Hawaii may have one if Linda Lingle runs for the Senate, defeating the aged Akaka. So debate on the issues is important. And communication of these facts has to be the law of the debates for all sides. If caught spinning, or lying, I want Americans to shout it out. We need simplified facts communicated in such a way that legalese does not confuse voters. And in 2012, there will be many voters who are just sitting around waiting for facts. We know that both parties have certain bases of their electorate. So facts will aid in getting many who just are now waking up to the events of the 21st Century. Whether it is energy prices, defense, Red China, Iran, the Islamofascists, Korea, border control, illegals, Care, education scores declining or liberties as in personal freedoms. And we all know by now, even the Left, that the media is pro-them. And so it takes an alternative media to see where the facts really are. This baloney about Fairness Doctrine is an effort to stop Talk Radio, Fox and the bloggers. Period. And PC sensitivities is a way to stop the spirited debate that we all need. As Franklin was said to have said,
we are a republic, if we can keep it. Just so. And that takes an educated electorate who will speak out with facts on issues by not letting an overweening government defuse ideas, destroy freedoms and our own free enterprise system by high taxes, regs, and spending which will bring us to our knees. No American of any ideology should want that. And if they do, those people should be ignored. Period.
